A lot of people ask the question – can someone write me a song? Now the answer is yes. If you want a song written for you, we’ll do it, and then post the MP3 for download.

A while back Dan and I were having our weekly music throw down on a longer than usual phone call. Nothing too out of the ordinary – the usual discussion of new music discoveries and new song ideas. An idea came to fruition that day – we should write songs for people on the internet.

If your song gets picked, I will write it very quickly and post it on youtube. If the song gets enough views, it will also be available for download as well.

So you’re asking yourself, can someone write a song for me? Here’s some guidelines for submissions:

- Don’t worry about coming up with all the lyrics, just give us the idea, we’ll take care of the rest – however lyrics can be cool too

- Your submission is a suggestion, so if you only have a general idea, that’s ok – we’ll use it to come up with more ideas

- Think of this as a conversation between you and us, help us write a song that’s different and unique to your situation or story

- Keep in mind your song doesn’t necessarily have to be about you, it can also be about a friend, family member, or completely fictional.
