Telluride Blues Day 3: Ryan McGarvey

With constant music from 11am-9pm every day at the festival, it was tough to get out to some of the late night acts, especially after being drenched to the bone all day long in the rain.
When Sunday came around I knew I had to make an extra effort to get out there, and one of my favorite music spots in Telluride is the Fly Me To The Moon Saloon. Turns out, one of the best blues guitar players in New Mexico was on the bill that night – Ryan McGarvey. I have to say, this was the best act from the entire festival – including all the big names on the big stages. Ryan is by far one of the best guitar players I’ve ever had the pleasure to see live, and he is sure to have a successful career doing it. Not sure how often he gets to venture out of New Mexico, so drop on by CD Baby and pick up a disc, you’re sure to be happy with your purchase. You can preview tracks there too.
