Telluride Blues Day 1: Carolyn Wonderland

Today was the first day of the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival. The festival takes place in one of the most scenic mountain locations in the world, with the stage set right at the base of the mountain.

First up to open the weekend was Carolyn Wonderland from Austin. Don’t let her shyness fool you, once she hit the mic her massive voice carried through the entire valley. With hints of Joplin, and guitar licks like Stevie and Jimi, there was no doubt they picked the right act to kick off the weekend.
